If you're really going to do this, I would check the legality of recording someone without their permission.

Why not the MLB, Major League Baseball, records everything....

Note: Only veteran Simpsons fans should expect to get this.

Looks like in Missouri it's a Felony offense to record a private conversation without the other person's permission. That makes it difficult to prove that the person you're working for is verbally abusing his employees.

There's a lot more happening in a conversation, tone of voice, etc, that just doesn't come across without the use of a recording device. If someone is committing a crime against you in this manner, then how do you prove it?

I guess I would categorize it as Verbal or Oral Assault.

I'm wondering what a difference it would make to put an EP600 or EP800 behind my couch. There's room for one there. And just leave the EP350 where it is. I've noticed since I've gotten a living room full of fluffy furniture that the bass has changed. It's more localized coming from the sub for one thing, and I don't have that bassy spot near the corner.

I probably ought to do another sub crawl, but my placement options are rather limited.

I wonder what the difference between the EP600 and EP800 would make in my living room environment? Or, would the differences be unnoticeable. I'm not into pipe organ music. Maybe even a 500 would work there.

Brian, why not try your EP350 in that spot 1st to see if it is a 'bass friendly' spot?

FWIW, I have my EP500 behind my couch and aside from being one of the good spots when doing the sub crawl, it has the tangible benefit of real tactile bass through the couch. We can literally feel the dinosaur steps and the like through the cushions.

For my preference's I have 2 small subs, they are in opposing corners of the room. I run them together when calibrating with auddysey and it works out really well. It was a real improvement adding the second sub. I had to search quite a while to find one that matched ,though im not sure just how important that is.

I'm not averse to using a non-Axiom sub, as long as it's much cheaper and relatively flat response.

As far as trying the sub in that spot. I can after I purchase a cable with the RCA ends that's long enough.

I bought a second sub that was the exact same as the one i already had. I found it on craigslist in florida. Not sureit was important that it was the same but at the time i was on a mission lol. I ended up replacing the woofer in the sub with a driver from parts express and they sound identical to my ears, so as i say im not so sure you would really need a matching sub.
See if yo can borrow a second sub from a freind or buyone and return it if you dont like.

CatBrat, I'd meet with your HR department before taking any action. If they're worth their paychecks, they should at least start a file on the offender. If the person is harassing multiple people, encourage them to file complaints, as well.

Small company. No HR department..... I'm not sure if I can classify it as harassment. That's why I was wanting someone in the know, to listen to a choice conversation that I had secretly recorded. But laws kind of blow that out of the water. Everybody knows we don't get along. Make that everbody knows he doesn't get along with almost anybody, except his pets.
