Like our favorite Canadians, Terrance and Phillip You mean Sharon, Lois & Bram. Upon first glance, that looked darn close to STFU.

I've been using my Sony BDP-S590 extensively over the past couple of days. I haven't tried the net gizmos nor its 3D capabilities; however, BD Movies & SACDs are rendered beautifully.
For the Canucks here, the regular price is around $150. Right now, online Future Shop.ca & Best Buy.ca (same company - Web ID# 10197142) has them on sale for $100 (shipping included) until 03 Jan 13. I purchased mine in Nov for $130 as a Christmas present to ourselves. Today I took my receipt into my local FS store & got a nice refund of $33 under their more than generous Price Protection Plan. In the past 6 months I've been refunded about $250 under this policy.
A S590 for $97/$100 is a steal no matter where you live. Get one while they last...

TAM I keep forgetting about that policy, I could have had about $50 last week

For what it's worth. Target is matching Amazon's prices all this year. I haven't read the article yet. But the person who forwarded to me says that you bring a printed amazon page with the price and they'll match it. For me personally, I doubt that Target would have much of what it is I order from Amazon. http://gizmodo.com/5974120/target-will-match-amazons-prices-all-year-long

jake:
I think that the local FS Customer Service Staff are now cringing when they see me walk in with a receipt in my hand.
I believe that they are back to their normal Price Protection Rules & I think BB is the same, as follows:
You won’t get it for less anywhere else. 1) If you find a lower price online, in-store or advertised in print we will beat it by 10% of the difference. 2) If you find a lower price online, in-store or advertised within 30 days of your purchase we will beat it by 10% of the difference. 3) If our own price is reduced within 30 days of your purchase bring in your receipt and we will refund the difference.
Remember though, it's best to buy your speakers here, ha!!
