I started watching it, and I'm in the middle of the second... volume, it looks like they're calling it. I'm used to the US calling them seasons and the UK calling them series. I like the actors who play Tom and Zoe.

Homeland

I like Damian Lewis and Claire Danes, but after a few episodes, I'm still looking for reasons to like their characters in this show. I couldn't place Morena Baccarin until I looked her up. She was in Firefly. The prince's escort also looked really familiar, and I finally remembered she was the first cheerleader you see in the opening of the pilot of Freaks and Geeks. She's looking really good these days, and I'm glad to see she's working.

The show is compelling enough so far. I want to see what happens. Claire Danes's character, Carrie, drives me a little up the wall, though, continually using bad judgment and showing little patience.

Been watching that as well Charles. Mostly because of my crush on Morena Baccarin since Firefly and don't foget TV's failed attempt to revive "V". She was one shapely lizard.

There is a reason, revealed a bit later since it sounds like you are early into it, why Carrie acts the way she does. Still I agree. Sometimes she reminds me of an angry duck. I keep watching because I'd like to see how they play it all out but the feasibility of the plot has been suffering in current episodes, I feel.

I hereby confiscate your geek card and your man card.

You can have them back if your defense is that you were distracted by Kaylee (Jewel Staite).

Hey, I'll go with that. Jewel Staite is adorable.

I love MI-5! One of those shows that meets the boy/girl watch-ability test.

EDIT: Deleting my post as I was commenting on (OK making fun of) a post wayyyy in the past. Somehow the board opened to an older page instead of the most current and I hadn't noticed.

I guess I have finally forgiven Battlestar Galactica for the worst ending in the history of... well.... anything!

Last night I watched the first six webisodes of Battlestar Galactica - Blood & Chrome. Pretty good stuff. The focus is on Adama in his cocky, rookie days as a pilot during the war against the Cylons. Definitely more of an action series vs. the previous.

This awesome time lapse work of the NYC fall colors.

"This gorgeous time-lapse by filmmaker Jamie Scott starts off like any other video capturing the change of the seasons with the movement of the sun, but then around :30 something pretty remarkable happens. To create the effect Scott filmed in 15 locations around New York City’s Central Park, two times a week, for six months using the exact same tripod and camera lens settings resulting in the footage you see here."

I figure MarkSJohnson can tell us what went right and what went wrong. wink
