Just wanna give you guys a quick update...
Right after Christmas I decided to go forward with the EP500. I received it last week (had some manufacturing delay on the amplifier).

First word that comes to my mind is: wow! The addition of the EP500 really changed everything in my room. I feel like my mains are even playing better (must have something to do with the crossover setting). We watched Quantum of Solace last night and at one point my wife told me: The house is shaking!! Do you feel it?! What an awesome experience that was.

Thanks to all of you guys for your good advice, I can't be more happy with my sound system. laugh

Does homeowner insurance cover subwoofer damage?

Glad to hear you are shaking up Montreal with it. Were you watching a movie Saturday night? Can I blame the Habs loss against the Leafs on your subsonic rumblings???

the answer to this question by Murph should be along that of Hugolin in the movie Jean de Florette:
"it's not me that's crying, it's my eyes."

Too funny! No matter how much the Leafs suck, they can still beat their arch rival. How do they market this, battle for the bottom?

Haha! I was planning on watching the game, but I got called back to work. I guess I didn't lose much. (pun intended)

Talking about fine tuning. I ran audyssey last night and my L and R came out at 40Hz, my surround at 60Hz and my center at 80Hz. I figured I should put the subwoofer crossover at 80Hz. Is that right?
