I just got back inside from slogging through 12" of snow to go to the back of the house.

Our cape cod has a DirectTV dish mounted on the bottom corner of the roof, slightly more than a story up. The snow, ice, wind and temperture all combined during this interesting storm to provide a relatively thick layer of "you aren't watching TV until the sun melts me".

So, the extension ladder and I made our way BACK through 12" tundra. I haul my old bones UP the freakin' ladder and brush/scrape the dish clean.

No TV you say???? I think NOT!!!

Now I can settle in for a nice evening of "Mr. Ed" re-runs.

I think I would of just switched to that outdoor antenna mounted in the attic.

We got 18" of snow last night. It's a nice sunny day today, at a balmy 22 deg F.
