I am going to place my order tonight and wanted a final opinion from any past owners of KEF or folks familiar with KEF speakers for M50 ti vs. KEF Q5.

Any suggestions thoughts will help me immensely finalize my decision. Pasting specs for Kef Q5 below:

Design 2 1/2 way bass reflex
Drive units LF: 165 mm (6 1/2") woofer
MF: 165 mm (61/2”) UNI-Q® with
HF: 19 mm (3/4") aluminium dome
Frequency response at 15° horizontally off axis ±3 dB 39 Hz - 27 kHz
Crossover frequency 2.8 kHz
Amplifier requirements 15 - 150 W
Sensitivity (2.83V/1m) 91 dB
Maximum output 112 dB
Impedance 8 Ohms
Magnetic shielding Yes
Dimensions (H x W x D) 34.6 x 9.4 x 12.6 in.

Posting again as I think this might be the right forum compared to the Home Theater forum

The M50's are a great speaker but I can't help you with the comparison as I have never owned the KEF's. If you like a warm, laid back speaker, you will like the M50's. If you want something more forward, look at the M60's or even the M80's.
