Yeah, seen the movie about 10 times now, and have had two full saga marathons. Best of the saga by far, and I'll be giving it another spin tomorrow.

Just watched SW3 again yesterday, and have formulated a couple of thoughts:

I needen't have rushed the new sub into use for this DVD; there just ain't that much low stuff in this flick

(I thought that SW1 was good on bass, and SW2 was overdone in spots, so I guess they averaged out.)

The opening scene reminds me of the "Buzz Lightyear" video game in "Toy Story 2"

Kinda half expected Anni and Ben to be gettin' out of their cute lil' fighters at the end of the scene and finding out they were nothin' but arcade simulators at the Jedi Temple

we'll probably do our SW marathon over the long Thanksgiving weekend.

On Thursday evening, I watched a friend give a presentation on Wookiees to a class of computer animation students. He's an animator at ILM and discussed the finer points of rendering hair and crowds of wookiees and various ways of cheating to make it look good but not take forever to render. It was a little dry, but interesting nonetheless. I guess you had to be there.

Some funny guys have squeezed Star Wars, Episode III down into 20 minutes of audio. Listen and laugh.
