The first question I would ask is: What type of cable are you using/planning to use, and what is the size/guage of the cable?

Does you amp have suffcient connector capacity? That is are the binding posts, etc large enough to cope with 2 wires? This is less an issue than once upon a time, when amp manufacturers provided guillotines, or small posts.
