the only time when i could afford Rosewood was in the mid 70s when i bought a Tandberg deck; the sides had a solid piece of Rosewood about half an inch thick or a little less.

when i went to Japan for a few months, a japanese friend told me that if i was to bring it to Japan, i could sell it for at least double what i paid for it in Europe.

this is just rambling, but sometimes it's nice...

Loc: It's all about the location.
Rosewood veneer is beautiful but costly. I've seen 4' x 8' sheets go for upwards of $1000.

BTW, speakers are gorgeous.
