Looking for authorative bass to rock your room? Axiom's Epic 50 / 350 system is an excellent choice for standard or larger rooms (2500 to 4,000 cu. ft.) and for listeners who want greater “heft,” deep-bass power, and louder cleaner playback levels provided by the M50 / EP350 subwoofer combo. These speakers produce exciting DVD movie and multichannel music playback. Fans of the M3ti bookshelf speaker will really like the M50's similiarly smooth tonal balance with the welcome addition of much deeper bass extension and dynamic power provided by the M50's dual woofers. And because the M50 towers are rated at 8 ohms, good-quality A/V receivers will easily drive them.

The M50 tower speakers achieve realistic dynamics with a spacious soundstage and neutral, high-accuracy music reproduction. They feature an attractive 35.5-inch cabinet with dual 6.5-inch aluminum-cone woofers and a titanium-dome tweeter. The VP100 center speaker has good power handling and wide dispersion for fine dialog intelligibility and a seamless front soundstage. Coupled with the larger EP350 subwoofer, the system will deliver convincing multi-channel surround sound with music or movie soundtracks. The QS4 quadpolar surrounds, with four drivers each, deliver an astonishing sense of envelopment in the ambient soundfield with movies or music. Center and surrounds can be wall-mounted or stand-mounted.

Listeners who desire spectacular subwoofer bass extension for blockbuster movie effects, classical pipe organ, orchestral forces and bass drum, should consider upgrading from the EP350 to the EP500 subwoofer, included with the Epic 50/EP500 systems. If listening distances exceed 15 feet from the front speakers, a VP150 center channel will also better handle the special effects and dialog in larger rooms.

The weather in Toronto yesterday was quite bad so I decided to have a "Snow Day" and work from home. It also gave me the opportunity to hook up my system. All I can say is UNBELIEVABLE, the sound is superb and everything was easy to install with the detailed instructions you provide. When you are making a significant purchase basically sight unseen (sound not heard), especially on the Internet you really need reassurance that you are doing the right thing.
