The Epic Grand Master In-Wall / On-Wall system provides the stylish design benefits of in-wall speakers, with the award-winning performance you've come to expect from Axiom's bookshelf speakers. The slimline W22 front speakers and a W150 slimline center channel combine to complement the sleek look of your flat-panel TV or projection screen, providing high definition sound that completes the hi-def home theater experience.
The system features the W22s which perfectly mirror the highly acclaimed sound quality of the award-winning M22 bookshelf speakers, but offer the versatility of an in-wall installation.
In this configuration the Grand Master system has a larger center-channel speaker (the 5-driver W150) and a bigger subwoofer, the EP350, which together make this system suitable for louder, cleaner playback in somewhat larger rooms—up to 3,000 cu. ft.-- or in dedicated home theaters where compact in-wall / on-wall main speakers are desirable, yet greater listening distances (12 feet or more) come into play.
The EP350 subwoofer, with its 200-watt internal power amplifier and 12-inch aluminum-cone driver, nicely rounds out the Epic Grand Master's sonic capabilities, producing deep, taut, and extended musical bass with plenty of impact reserved for those blockbuster special effects.
Expect exciting performance: this system delivers thrillingly detailed, natural and transparent movie soundtrack and music playback from DVDs, CDs and even multichannel SACD and DVD Audio discs.
