Our customers have spoken and we have listened! They asked us to design an In-cabinet version of our M60’s. So that is what we did. We have overcome any of the inherent acoustic problems to deliver an in-cabinet version of the M60 that combines excellent peak power handling - up to 250 Watts per channel - for large rooms with smooth extended bass from its dual 6.5-inch woofers. This is the go-to speaker for the demanding audiophile who wants a speaker that performs equally well with music and movies, and wants a speaker that can handle the demanding dynamics of Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound, Dolby TrueHD on Blu-ray, or thrilling 2-channel stereo orchestral playback. We guarantee these speakers will be the envy of the neighborhood!
The M60 In-cabinet speaker uses the same size enclosure as our standard M60 floorstanding towers, but it is front-ported, with a slim baffle that protrudes ever so slightly from the cabinet.
The M60 In-cabinet speaker is offered in a paintable version to match any custom installation or room décor, or in a VaSSallo version with a solid, real-wood front baffle (not a veneer) that can be custom finished by a cabinet-maker to match the surrounding cabinetry in a home (Axiom will also custom-finish to order).
Get the convenience of In-cabinet built on the heritage of our famous floorstanding M60’s!
"Some speakers tend to push the image to the back of the soundstage, but not the M60s. They gave me a close, intimate listening perspective, as if I was sitting on stage with the performers." -- Vince Hanada, GoodSound!
Winner of the GoodSound.com Great Buy Award! If you'd like the startling definition and realism of the M80 tower in a more compact, 8-ohm version, check out the M60s. A three-way system with triple vortex porting, a dedicated 5 1/4-inch midrange driver, titanium tweeter, and dual aluminum woofers, the M60 effortlessly reproduces the full musical spectrum.
"While not full range, these speakers should be able to produce all but the most demanding bass passages. At reference levels, the M60’s made my couch vibrate. In my book, that’s a winner!" --Tom Andry, Audioholics
