The QS8s feature twin titanium tweeters and dual aluminum woofers top and bottom. Sound is transmitted in four directions (see diagram), tricking your ears so they can't tell where the speaker is. All you'll feel is complete immersion in the movie or music soundtrack. Unlike traditional direct-radiating surround speakers that have just two drivers, the QS8's four drivers effectively mimic the special sound effects of large Dolby movie theaters for all seats in the room. The Quadpolar QS8s are best in medium to large rooms with moderate to high-powered amplifiers or receivers. An excellent match with our M2, M22, M60 or M80 speakers.
There are several mounting options for this easy-to place speakers. You can use the free included T-Bracket to flush-mount the QS8 on a wall. Alternatively, Axiom's Full Metal Bracket will let you tilt or swivel the QS8, for placement on angled wall or bulkhead. We also offer a Full Metal Ceiling Bracket so that you can hang the QS8s in the room. We also recommend the specially designed FMS QS that allows the bottom woofer to fire freely. Please note the speaker cannot sit on a bookshelf - it has to be elevated.

As you noted, the Axiom QS8s have been delivered and I assembled the stands and hooked them up to my system. All I can say is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!! Finally, I got my QS 8s hooked up as surrounds, M22s in front and my Paradigm Atoms in the rear with Paradigm sub connected to Denon 3802, Toshiba Cinema Series widescreen. I have setup my new surround speakers which I have matched with my Marantz multiroom receiver and 1 year old surround stereo system. I must admit, I'm very happy with the clarity of the sound.
