Troubleshooting - EP500

No Power Verify electrical outlet breaker

Verify that the power cord is fully inserted in subwoofer receptacle

Check the two 3.15A fuses in the AC switch.

Check that the fuse box is set to the correct voltage 110 position (or flip to 220 for Europe and China)

Humming Remove or insert ground screw

Put Antenna Ground Isolator in incoming antenna cable

Try to plug the subwoofer in the same electrical outlet which is used by the other system components or the same electrical circuit

Verify that the electrical wall outlet is properly grounded and that the polarity is respected

As a last resort we suggest, is to use a Universal adaptable three-prong electrical plug
F.M. Noise Use fully shielded coax cable to the antenna - RG6 Quad Shielded recommended

Do not use a folded dipole antenna
TV Interference Use fully shielded coax cable to the antenna - RG6 Quad Shielded recommended
Green Light On But No Audio 1) If using high level in, check that speaker leads are not reversed
2) Check input cable is completely inserted and working
3) Turn amp off and then on again
4) Speaker wire internally may be disconnected
5) Check the top 250mA fuse and the bottom 15A fuse
6) Check your receiver menu settings to see if sub is turned on
7) Check that the fuse box is in 110 position for 110 use (220 position will have green light with no audio on 110 circuits)
Stops working after power interruption Turn amp OFF and then ON again
Amber Light / No Audio Turn trim switch out of "Load" position
Makes intermittent noises after power interruption Turn amp off and then on again
Vibrating / Rattling Remove the speaker from the cabinet to verify that all wires are secured and not contacting the speaker during operation.
