The W2 on-wall/in-wall hybrid speaker preserves the sonic clarity of its bookshelf equivalent, the M2, and adds a slim profile that is a perfect complement to today's modern low-profile plasma and LCD TV screens.

Other in-walls rely on the wall cavity to tune the bass output, resulting in a speaker whose performance varies from wall to wall and room to room, and may even produce distorted sound in neighboring rooms.
Overcoming these drawbacks, the W2 features a fully integrated enclosure that recesses into the wall, combined with an attractive exterior baffle portion that keeps the speaker's woofer and tweeter away from the sound-degrading effects of the wall's front surface. The speaker ports are cleverly hidden at the base of the outer baffle.
A supplied self-clamping frame anchors the speaker firmly to the wall when the screws are tightened. The series is available in a variety of attractively-finished front baffles to suit any decor.
Recommended: You'll enjoy enhanced and extended deep bass response if you mate the W2 with one of Axiom's powered subwoofers.
