Well all the Ws in, EP500 here this week
UNDER CONSTRUCTION: Ignore: marked up wall, holes in wall, LCD that needs leveled. Still have to do new lighting, cut opening on back wall, paint, carpet, new seating. I long way to go! I'm finishing up my rack and garage cabinets at the same time, so a long, long way to go!

looks very nice, curious why you didn't place the left/right speakers further apart to get a better/wider soundstage. They should be at least as wide as you are sitting back... Well I think the photo is deceptive. And different setup tutorials I read said different things. Far side to far side of the L/R speakers is just shy of 7' Some say the triangle, the Axiom data says I think 2/3rds. I picked the inbetween which didnt required cutting out the studs of the (outside/external/structural) wall of the casa. And believe it or not, in that tiny room after hearing what I have now, I'm considering a new AVR with wide and Height, and would need the room to each side for the (not needed) but visually pleasing 4 W22s across the front!

Do you have room behind the couch for the 500 - or will it have to go across the front somewhere? Out of curiosity, where in the foothills are you?

Do you have room behind the couch for the 500 - or will it have to go across the front somewhere? Out of curiosity, where in the foothills are you? For sub placement, I have across the front wall, as an end table next to the couch on the wall you can see in pic 3. Or behind the couch on the side wall shown in pic 3. Other side of the couch is walkway, other side walk at back is doorway, and I am cutting a 5' opening in the backwall into the greatroom. So just a few placement options. I'm down the mountain 30 minutes from Blowing Rock south of Lenoir in Hudson. Your over by Raleigh, correct? Thanks

Raleigh is a little over 2 hours away. I am much closer to Winston-Salem. I do have a daughter at App.
