That's actually what I wanted to do but I don't know why it created a separate page.
MOD, would you please merge the two pages? Thanks.

Man that is really, really nice Sam, a very well done job with everything. I totally love that styling.
What are your room dimensions?
And also ... welcome!

I don't think I've seen the M60's look better. Nice job. Reel to reel? Haven't seen anything this unique since Japan on '76.

Hello Sam, Great setup! I'm in the process of setting up a projector. How large is your screen and at what didtance are you viewing it from? I'm sitting about 13 feet away from my front wall. Would 100-106 inches be too large? I don't want to get tennis strain on my neck!!! What projector are you using? I'm looking into the Panasonic PT-AE4000. Any comments on that unit? Here is alink to my gallery. Maybe you can give me some input. http://www.axiomaudio.com/boards/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showgallery&Number=301763&page=1Thanks, Stan

Hi Stan,
My fixed screen is 92" measured diagonally. My projector is a Panasonic PT-AE4000 (great projector BTW) and I enjoy movies from a 11" to 12" distance. The distance is just about perfect for me given the size of my screen.
In your case, 100-106 inches would be ideal from your viewing distance. I was thinking of upgrading my screen to 106 if I could sell my 92" :-)

Depending on your uses I would consider either the AE4000 or the 8700 UB there are comparisons on both of these pages: http://www.projectorcentral.com/epson_home_cinema_8700UB_projector_review.htm?emhttp://www.projectorreviews.com/epson/home-cinema-8700ub/competitors.php#8I bought the AE4000 over a year ago and love it but I only chose it over the comparable Epson at that time because the Epson frame interpolation was having issues and the AE4000 had noticeably better shadow detail, something I wanted for gaming. However, from what I’m reading the Epson had pretty much taken care of those issues so if I were buying today I would probably have gotten the 8700 UB for the greater brightness and better black levels. Based on the light colour of your room and unless you plan on covering those windows with dark curtains or blinds (or watch only at night) I think you would be better off with the higher brightness of the 8700 UB unless there are features on the AE4000 that you just must have like the automatic lens zoom or a few others. Cheers, Dean
