Almost Done

Almost done ..... now I just need a cameraman with skills and gear

The room usually looks a bit darker, and it's "BROWN" (Valspar-Labrador) but it's either to dark for photos or open the blind and to bright! My hi-tech phone camera ain't getting it.

I'm happy...... perfect "darkness" for Movies (for me) and I like the look. (didn't think I would) I even like the look from the "living/light" part of the casa

And more important .... it sounds great! 9.1 amplified with options for sides/rears (11.1, for da future! WIth plans for maybe .2)

Oops, my fault. I didn't read only assumed as good as the film looked they used the Red One.

So yeah, I see what you mean an unintentional advertisement. Maybe I'll place that 7D order sooner than later. smile

Still, to rig one of these Canon's up for motion picture work, it's more than just slapping a lens on the body and running with it. If you see a 5/7D equipped for feature work, it's hard to spot the camera's body inside all the other bolted on gear. Though, the entry price is a little more than half of the Red Epic.

it does imply that the camera is versatile and professional enough to be used in difficult environments and able to give good results in critical applications.

in my mind it's recommendation enough, like in the 80's when i was looking to buy speakers.
i had a short list, and one thing that made me decide to buy the Energy 22 Reference over other makes/models was the fact that the CBC had bought those to use as their studio monitors. I listened to them for a couple of hours and bought them; never regretted it too...
