Have you thought about ceiling mounting some smaller (M2?) speakers in the rear? Your set up is very similar to mine. I chose to go with the ceiling mount solution, rather than muck around with the back wall solution.

Bragging rights aside, I'm not sure 6.1 or 7.1 adds that much to the experience. If stereo sound is a 3/10 and bumping up to 5.1 is like an 8/10. Adding the 6th or 7th channels might put you at 8.5/10. Especially when combined with the Q Series, the extra rear speakers aren't that noticeable.
