INANE HT v2.0

Finally getting around to posting some pictures from my basement remodel project of the HT room. Already making a list of additions to increment this to 2.1, 2.2, etc laugh

What I have here is my HK AVR 630 powering M80s, VP180, QS8s and QS4s. I'm actually fairly happy with the power of the AVR as I can get up to 110db without too much trouble and I stop there because that's plenty loud. Also pictured is my old DIY sub which gets the job done for movies but it's on the list to be replaced with dual subs in the future. The TV is a 65inch Panasonic Plasma GT30 series which I'm really really happy with.

This link has a few additional pictures.

Nice! I love the cubby for the remote. I currently walk to the back of my theater to grab my Harmony One remote before I can really do anything. A place for the remote near the light switches like you have would have been ideal!

I'm not sure if I HAD to put that fan in the equip closet but I figured why not when it would be easier to. I think it's come in handy on days when we have the windows open.

I haven't really tested the sub because I don't have any audio testing equipment beyond a spl meter.

That is a Panasonic TCP65GT30 and I'm very happy with it. I looked at the 50 series but I picked up that set for $1750 shipped and at the time the GT50 would have been almost $500 more.

Very nice equipment closet, I'll do probably the same on my future HT room.
Cubby for the remote is a great idea !!!!

That remote cubby is fantastic, and it looks like it at the entrance to the room - even better.
