Aaron's Home Theater

Here it is. Finally done. Thanks to Axiom Audio and to owners on the Axiom forum for helping make this room possible.

Thanks! Sounds incredible compared to some of my prior builds. The forum really helped me out a lot. The VP160 was an enormous upgrade from my on wall center. My new Yamaha RX-A3050 drives the system very well..

Yeah. I've been telling everyone to do the VP160 thing.

Now imagine the upgrade to floor-standers. Sorry. smile

Gorgeous job. Very nice. But concerned about your speaker placement. Those front qs8's are too far forward. Also too high for atmos. Are you using atmos or are those ceiling speakers for something else?

The QS8's may be a little too far ahead but as for height I see no problem. I have mine closer than that to the ceiling , but my ceiling is only 8ft not sure what Aarons is. I have tried at various heights with both qs4s and QS8's and find I like them up higher as they blend better and they don't reveal their position.

My qs8's were up high as well. The second I went to Atmos it was an obvious mistake as you can't get any seperation from the ceiling speakers. They need to be ear level. Dropping mine down was the best thing I did. This room looks like the front row will have separation issues with the fronts. It doesn't look like this room is atmos? Because his ceilings are more front heights than top fronts. All that aside it is a beautiful done room.
