Thanks for this thread!

I am sitting at home - can't go to work, I somehow got pinkeye, so I'm home but not sick.

The wife is at work, the boy is at his grandparents.

I realize that this is the first time in 5 months since the birth of the boy, that I have had a day to listen to music by myself.

Thus for quick reference I am playing Rush's Greatest Hits (thanks Sir Quack!) and will proceed to more ear-splitting loud music.

Weekend Kickoff songs:
Won't Get Fooled Again - The Who - I defy you to find a better definition of "rock music" The second scream near the end where Roger Daltry's vocal chords are shattered just gets me psyched up and moving.

Sweet Home Alabama - I'm not from Alabama, nor am I particularily a big Lynyrd Skynyrd fan, but the sentiment "Turn it up" right after the opening guitar intro, is the right sentiment for listening to good tunage

I third Working for the weekend

Take it easy - Eagles

Lighter fare:
"Playing with My friends" - BB King and Robert Cray
"jammin" - Bob Marley
