I actually just finished drywalling my theatre room in the basement, and I chose the wall I want the screen to go on and drywalled it perfectly. I plan on a DIY paint screen using Behr Silverscreen paint mixed with some other white or something. The mix can be found on avsforum.com.
So thats nice and easy, and realistically, Spending $30 on paint for a 100" screen vs a $300 screen. Is it really worth 10x more? I will try the paint and see how it goes.
