Back before I lost my sanity and moved into management, I was an industrial mechanic and pipewelder. I spent many long days on concrete and know what you are talking about. I ended up buy a set of White’s Boots after some of my co-workers talked me into it. After a few tough weeks breaking them in (or they broke my feet in), my feet problems went away. My lower back also started to feel relieved. They are expensive, and difficult to break in, but they do work. I use them for hunting now. They have excellent ankle support for stomping around hillsides and the tundra.
