No, I skipped "planned around" that problem. I did not cover the front of any of the speakers. The PSB front baffle is a curved rigid plastic with detailing, so I could leave it alone. On the sub, I decided that the grill stays one 99% of the time, so I could avoid removing the driver and just left the black front baffle.

The driver part is not an impediment, just another step. But one I avoided.
