I could care less if the game is 2 hours or 4 hours as long at is entertaining. With the Socks and Yanks it usually is. Just do your job Mr. West and shut your mouth.
How can the umps be critical of teams and try to enforce rules that don't exist? I agree with the previous poster in that the ump should face the same penalties as players do in similar circumstances such as these. If the league feels games are dragging on to long well then do something actually about it instead of having a ump embarass 2 of the most important teams to the profitability and popularity of the game.
