I was just taken off salary, because the VP doesn't think I'm working a full 40 every week. So now I'm back on the time clock. I hate to tell him, I've been working an average of 42 hours every week for the last four years. I like my job, and was grateful for the flexibility that I was allowed by not having to punch in and out all the time. But now that trouble is being made for me, I'm going to cause trouble back. So I'm either going to end up with 4 hours of OT on each biweekly check, or I'm taking a half day every other Friday. I'm sure the VP will be upset when he comes looking for me, and I'm gone at noon.
Sorry, just needed to rant, today was my first day back on the clock.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I got called this morning 2 hours before I was supposed to be at work, and had to trouble shoot over the phone. Since I was awake, I went into work early. So I already worked 9.5 hours on this first day.
