On your AVR leave the impedance switch to the highest ohm setting regardless of the rated impedance of the speaker by the manufacturer. In this case use the 8 ohm setting. Going to the 6 ohm setting or any lower impedance setting will only limit the current and supply less possible power to the speakers.
