exlabdriver connoisseur E Joined: Sep 2011 Posts: 1,767	Two movies that I watch a couple times per year - normally by myself as my wife & daughter aren't too impressed with these two: Midnight Run: De Niro & Charles Grodin. A great cross-country chase move from 1988. Lots of humour & language but not a lot of audio effects; however, it is a good story & Grodin is wonderful. Last Man Standing: Bruce Willis, Christopher Walken & Bruce Dern. A largely unknown movie. I'm normally not a big Willis fan but I liked him in this one. Located in a dying town (The Great Depression) in the Texas desert with lots of stylized 1930s gangster shootouts with some great audio effects. Ry Cooder's haunting guitar work throughout adds to the ambiance. Overall a great action flic... TAM
