I would agree with that. But I haven't heard anyone calling Onkyo, Marsh, Outlaw or any other MFG asking "hey, can you modify your product not to fail, because I have Axiom M80 speakers?"

Hell, who knows nowadays...


I think the modification emotiva is referring to is adding a current limiter circuit to the amp if you have the M80's because they don't current limit their amps.

The other amps probably don't need that modification or run into the same issues as the Emotiva because they already have those current limiting protection circuits built into them.
