The Qs8's are on the sides, left and right,facing the center of the room, about 8.5 feet up. Due to the room they are about 2 feet away from the rear wall. That leaves about 15 feet between the M60's and the 8's. The "side Axis" speakers can be used to "fill' in this area, between the 60's and the 8's. I thought that ceiling mounted omni's, like Mirage might make a much fuller sound stage. I don't have the ability to add 2 more 8's as there is a fireplace on one wall and a formal dining room on the other. Also my wife doesn't want more speakers on the wall, we settled on two in-ceiling speakers. My main question, I guess is will omni's work well with my wonderful Axiom's?
