You most likely won't need that warranty. I've had a Honda powered Craftsman mower for 10 years, never had a problem with it, ever. I am looking into replacing the blade brake cable and choke cable, getting sticky and not working nearly as well. The starter rope finally broke last year but it was midway up the handle so I was able to keep using it as is, just have to bend a little to reach the handle now.
