My new house will have a hybrid home theater area/great room. I can hide cabling for all speakers except the left rear surround speaker. That cable will either have to run across the floor by the kitchen which is not acceptable, or be easy enough to connect disconnect from the speaker.

The QS-8 will sit on a four foot stand and I intend to have the wire permanently attached and run down the stand with a loose section a few feet long coiled under an end table. The main run be coiled up under the right rear surround speaker out of site. When I want to listen, I need a way to connect the two pieces together without having to twist wires every time this happens. The wire nuts that are used in wall outlets might work but that is still a fair amount of twisting and connecting. I'd like a connection to be a simple plug and play type.

Any ideas?
