If I had all wheel drive and studded tires, it would have been a pleasant drive. Unfortunately I have front drive and Goodyear Eagle F1's; a great summer tire. In the winter, they take a set after sitting over night and I have to deal with a flat spot for a mile or two until they round out again.

From the look of those photos, I could have easily made it home with summer tires. You just have to know how to drive while slippin' 'n slidin'.
