My EP600 did not survive storage while my downstairs was rebuilt after the flood. My EP500 did.

I dragged it out and hooked it up to the Jadis JPL preamp. I went with a CD of the 1812 Overture in a Sony DVP9000ES running through a Schiit Bifrost multibit DAC. Mains are Klipsch Fortes. Crossed the EP500 at 60 Hz. Cranked up the volume and sat back.

Holy smokes! Sound was incredible. The bass was tight, and titanic! No discernible distortion. Very musical. Cannons were so powerful sounding, it made me so happy!

I'm getting another.

I googled reviews of the EP500. Professional reviews were very positive. Forum reviews were stunning. I forgot about all the irrational hate for Axiom products out there. It was terrible. The vicious trolling of Axiom products must be damaging to Axiom's business! How hurtful and unfair!!

I wish this site was more active and inviting to audio enthusiasts. Couldn't hurt.
