Looking at a used ADA-1000-2. Specs say this unit has 125w/channel. I currently have an AVR (Yamaha RX-A3070) with pre-outs. I am wanting to start experimenting with separates and was thinking this could be a good start to power my left and rights.

I consider myself a noob with separates and have a few questions...
1. Should I notice a difference in sound with the ADA-1000-2?
2. I find it hard to compare against the AVR as the specs say 165w for 2ch driven.
