There are many postings on these boards pertaining to speaker wire ("the good...the bad...and the ugly"). General consensus seems to indicate that one need not spend mega-bucks on high-end wire; proper gauge for length of run seems to be the most agreed upon important factor.

Currently, there are very few posts pertaining specifically to interconnects from source to amp. I would appreciate opinions/comments as to whether there is any audio difference/improvement/benefit between low-mid-high end cables (high-end within reason...I am not prepared to take out a 2nd mortgage on my house!). Or, is interconnect cable design/material/quality and their impact (or lack thereof) on sound quality yet another audio "myth"?

Thanks.

P.S. Am currently using Kimber Kable PBJ's between my CD and integrated amp...both Cambridge Audio components.
