My factory outlet M22 pair arrived this week. Perfect condition - not the tiniest scratch or dent on them (well maybe the veneering on the BACK of one was a few micrometers off)

I'm now running 3 M22's for the front 3 and it sounds great.
This is my first receiver and my first set of speakers that I have purchased, so I'm no Audiophile. But even my parents could tell how great the Best of Santana was sounding.

I was totally shocked when I heard a guitar coming from 2 meters to the LEFT of the speaker, never heard something like that before.Wow!

Even when I'm not using Prologic II/Music things sound great. In fact I'd advise people to go the vertical center route even if they watch movies 80% of the time/20% Music. When you've got good speakers like these you'll find yourself listening to much more music than before. So don't just build your system around HT.

For those buying from overseas, see if you can get around the customs and taxes. I bought a single M22 earlier this year and it came through without me having to pay any VAT or Duties. So I though hey this is cool - hence, my rude shock when Fedex told me I had to pay the equivalent of $100 US in VAT & Duties when the pair arrived. Putting the total at $720 US for a pair of Factory outlet M22's. And most of you lucky people can get M60's for that price!

I suppose that if the value is low enough or its your first shipment you don't have to pay VAT or Duties in South Africa. Guess I should have put the shipment on another family members name. There may be similar laws in other countries.

1 more thing, I'd really like to know the models that other people are buying. If Axiom could post the sales proportions eg. M3=20% of units sold, M80's = 10% etc.
I'd really be interested to know. I can understand them not wanting to post the actual sales numbers.

Anyone listening, Amie?
