i was actually just about to post on this! GAME ON!!!

It's great to see they finally got past their greed & egos and got a deal done. It is also nice to see that the players did take it on the chin pretty good. Nice work Goodenow!

HALLELUJAH!!!!!!! Now we just have to wait until November. My current fear is that ESPN did so well in the ratings by airing poker games (better than it did with hockey), that they'll cut back on the hockey coverage.

Cool, now they'll finally play "live" games on HDNet. Hockey definitely is one of the better HD sports, since it can take advantage of the widescreen format.

24% rollback on existing contracts, $39 million cap per team and the highest paid player can't make more than $7.8 million (20% of $39 mil) per year.
Should be interesting......

actual what i meant roll over last years contracts. but i see in the paper today they are gonna void last year so that means a lot of free agents the rangers might actually get under the cap. lol
