I am going to a bachelor party in Atlantic City in August. I jokingly asked a friend from New Jersey if it was going to be a lot of big hair, tank tops, gold chains, and people with mob connections and he said "pretty much, yes."

So to allay my Jersey fears, I am posting here for suggestions. We're pretty much past the frat-boy type bachelor party (god I hope so), so I am looking for nice Casinos, restaurants, clubs, and things to do.

thanks!

I may be doing the same thing in September. I don't go to AC a lot, but some of the people going do. Once suggestions start flowing I'll post some. I believe I was at Wild Wild West last time.

As far as nice looking casinos, the new Belagio is one of the better ones...problem is it is in a separate area from the rest of them (although that could be good too if you are looking to get away from the main boardwalk area). Can't help as much with the resturant/club part, but I'm sure you can find some info at yahoo yellow pages or something like that.

The Bellagio is really seperate from the other AC casinos, by about 2500 miles. I'm pretty sure you're referring to the Borgata. Borgota is a VERY expensive hotel/casino. But it's also VERY nice. The Tropicana did some extensive remodeling as well as the Showboat. Both have nightlife (shows/bars) as well as your gambling entertainment. Wild Wild West hasn't changed much in the past 10 years, so as a result has lost some luster.

And everytime I go down there I've got to stop at the Irish Pub (St. James Place and Boardwalk.) Good & inexpensive food/bar.

Yeah...I meant Borgata...I had Vegas on the mind when typing it...not a big fan of AC. I've heard the Trop remodeled, but haven't seen it yet.

Yup...I would agree with both of those sentiments about the Borgata. Personally, I'd like to see some of AC be like downtown in Vegas, where you can play for $1 a hand/craps bet. I like to play for fun, not to win or lose a lot, so AC doesn't excite me when it is hard to find $5 tables depending on the time of day.
