For those of you with the know, how do you include photos in your posts? I'd like to but haven't a clue as to how to go about it. I read the instructions for the Axiom Forum which says I need to have a web page and like to photos there. Is this true?

Ignorantly yours,
John

You can register at photo bucket and post pictures for free there. Just cut and paste the photo location to your post on the forum.

Just try doing it. It seems complicated at first, but once you get it, it's relatively easy. If you still have trouble, no worries, there are others on the board who are more techinically savvy than me. And can probably explain it better, too!

As Sean says, the photo must be hosted on a web site; either your own, or one like PhotoBucket.com. It's free and easy to use.

Once you have the photo on the web, follow the instructions in this post.

Also note that most photo sites (eg. webshots) will not let you post an inline link to the picture, since that separates the picture from the advertising which pays their bills.

Photobucket seems to be the best choice... or you can use any photo site and include a link which we have to click on to see the picture. That's almost as good and works with any site... you just replace "image" with "url"...

Hey, thanks everyone for responding. I'll try photobucket.com and go from there!
