Hi bigjohn, know exactly how you feel I'm doin' everything I can with my Grandkids so that they don't find themselves embarassing themselves thru ignorance or embarassing somone else with an event like that which you had to endure. We started with the basics.... "...and Thomas Edison spoke into the drum machine: Mary had a little lamb....." Even though we no longer have a record player and most all of our platters died in storage, the kids have seen me hugging my dear old RCA "Red Seal" recordings of Carusos' greatest hits of 1907 thru 1923(since remastered sometime in the 1950s on 33 anna third) They know...they understand.
