In clarity of the sound? not really. The M60s just sounds "bigger" - see how technical I am? Plus the m60s looks better

I was on the same boat. Now My 22s and QS8s serve as surrounds.

That sure is a nice looking setup. What is the size of that room? It must be huge.

No $%#@ kidding!!! So when are you gonna spring for a VP150? Does the VP100 work well in a room that size?

M22ti mains, EP175 sub, VP150 center, QS4 surrounds

I went from M22's to M60's and heard a considerable difference in the fullness of the sound. It was an immediate smile and just the sound I was looking for that the 22's didn't provide. I put the 22's to work as surrounds and I love the setup. It is very impressive in both movies and multi channel discs. (Just did a test with the Star Wars episode I pod race scene at 105db, and it was insane. I am very pleased with the setup).

The VP 100 is a great speaker and will sound fine with that setup but if you are like most of us you will also wonder if the 150 would sound better. I upgraded from the 100 to the 150 as my curiousity got the best of me. (Just wanted to have the best one that Axiom offered, besides the fact that the 150 gets more comments as being a cool looking speaker than any of the others due to its size compared with most center channels that people get)
And the 150 was an asthetically more pleasing speaker for me as it is the same width as my TV. Cool!

The VP100 does OK I suppose, I can hear dialogs just fine. I am looking to upgrade, but not to a 150. I'm going for another M60 for an identical front setup! But no play funds yet

The room is 15 * 19 I think, don't remember exactly. Thanks for the comments...

Dallas, very nice system and a gorgeous home environment. I really do like the overall look, very appealing!

I've also been mulling over whether to use a VP150 or maybe another 80 but I notice that the 60s fit real nice under your screen so acquiring a third for a center with your setup will be an easy deal. I'll have 73" rear projected DLP TV and won't have the room for a stand up 80...will I be stuck with a horizontal type center such as the 150? Looks like it, huh?

Wow, 73 inch TV! Don't want to be the delivery man for that thing! Who makes 73 inchers anyway? Looks like it's the 150 for you - but it is of course no slouch. Will the top of your TV be thick enough for that huge center speaker? Today's projection TVs are real thin up top.

Yeah front projection allows me to upgrade to the ultimate ideal of identical speakers in front. I need to sell my excess speakers...with another M60, I will have 3 Axioms sitting in the dust! I didn't plan on buying so many...what happened? lol...

I use M22ti's as mains with a VP150. EP350 and QS8's as surrounds. Considering your current setup and use I'd have to say upgrading the surrounds to QS4's or 8's would give you much more WOW and upgrade impact than getting the 60's. If you were a 2 channel nut with a serious hankerin for redbook material then maybe 60's or 80's. I have a huge room and my M22's are perfect. Look here

Best of luck.

M22ti's, VP150, QS8's and EP350!

Dallas the TV is a Mitsubishi WD-73827, a new model from them. We were considering a smaller TV along with a projector and a pull down screen but the consensus around my household was to opt for the 73" TV. It's not too bad at 188lbs...compare that to some of the larger tube TVs and it's a lightweight!
I'll build a sturdy shelve in such a manner that the front surface of the center will be even with the screen of the TV. I did that for my current VP100 and 37" Plasma and it works great.

DallasAxiom,

I hate to ask, but where is the projector mounted...?

I don't see it in that shot and don't see it on your webpage...
