i need to know if these are actually M22's???

They are Axiom designed speakers. They do not use the same tweeter, but they use the same woofers. The cabinet design is also different. Some people really like them. Other people have not heard them. I have not heard anyone say anything bad about them. However, the ones on eBay you have a bid on seem somewhat expensive at this time. They usually go for cheaper, AFAIK.

thanks for the quick response. i bid thinking they were M22's....they looked the same, only a little older. i can't retract the bid. oh well. live and learn i guess

Please try using the search feature, there are tons of posts if you search for that name. Here is a post where Alan responds explaining they are not the same. Like Ken says, the resemble the M22's only, drivers are not the same. I believe Axiom contracted work for them at one point.

Well, live and pay a little extra for nice speakers with a good finish.

Geez...I can never keep the two sorted out; Michaura and Merak.

One was sold thru Canadian Radio Shack and the other had some story about some dudes getting a marketing idea on selling speakers like in the US, but had problems with customs or something. I was under the impression that "Axiom" was the sole supplier or assembler.

International intrigue, I guess.

I might even try doing some research again if the Grandkids leave me be for a few moments, even got another sleeping over. Justa bit busy tonight
