Well my upgraded Axiom gear came today so I thought I would post a few pics for you guys.

M60's, VP150, QS8's, EP500

Very Happy with this system, the EP500 shakes the walls and windows and I dont even have it close to its full volume level, crazy!

Now that is a sharp system! Looks so good in black with the speaker grills off. Isn't it nice they are making silver TV's and components to accent with the aluminum drivers of the Axioms?

I'm glad you are happy with the EP500. They are terrific subs. What are your thoughts on how the 350 and the 500 compare in sound quality and volume output (since you have now recently tried out both)?

Thanks for posting the new pics. Looks fabulous!

Go Vikings! Your room is looking pretty sweet.

Just one note, start with the sub volume around the 11 o'clock position, I have my 350 at about 12o'clock, 0 phase. The receiver is handling my crossover at 80hz with all speakers set to small. Also, make sure you have your sub crossover cranked to it's max so it is out of the way for the receiver management.

Again, looks like you have good tast in football teams.

Good advice from Randy, but I believe the volume knob on the 500 ranges from about 4 o'clock to 2 o'clock. So 11 or 12 "might" be too high. It all depends on your setup and room, just don't want you to cause any damage to your foundation if you turn it too loud . The point is to be away from the low or high extreme of the volume dial so you aren't getting any distortion. Same applies for the level adjust from your receiver.

The 500 also has a internal crossover bypass, so use that and you are good to go with your receiver's bass management setting.

Could it get anymore confusing, heck it took me 1 year just to get my 350 right. I'm trying to figure out a way to convince my boss (wife) into getting a 500. Reading the product information is just making me want it even more, 500 watt amp, WOW. I really wish I would have taken a few more months to make my purchase, as the 500 and 600 came out. Reminds me of Apple and ipods, just when you thought you purchased the king of the hill, you get knocked down to the foot hills.

I might even try setting the sub volume to "3'o Clock High" I would hate to piss Buddy Revel off and have to meet him after school. Ok, now I've lost it, but it was a funny movie.

No Viking fan here. I was watching Monday Night Football, thats why that is on the screen. Im a die hard Cowboy fan.

dllewel, the EP350 was a good sub. i think the main difference that I have noticed is that the EP500 can be pushed much harder and simply not bottom out. i was able to make the EP 350 bottom out on a few scene's in star wars revenge of the sith.

sirquack, i have the sub set at the 9 oclock position. if i set it to 11oclock position it would blow my windows out! the sub crossover is set to bypass.

One thing I will say after hearing both the QS8's and QS4's is there is no comparison. The QS8's are much better IMO. Much more clear and detailed.

As for the difference between the VP100 and VP150, well I dont notice much yet. The 150 looks more impressive though. :P

Finally, the M60's. As far as movie watching goes, I can only notice a small difference between the M50's and the M60's. BUT, when playing music, they can definitly get pretty loud while still playing very clean.
