It's late, I'm bored, and since researching a new workhorse (receiver) is starting to drive me crazy. I thought I'd create a little poll to see what brand everyone has.

There are also two or three of us here with a Marantz. Probably not enough to be statistically significant, but we're a happy lot.

Oh I'm sorry man. Believe me I wasn't trying to leave anybody out. The receivers listed in the poll are the brands that I've been doing research on in search of a new upgrade.

Oh, no harm done at all. There really don't appear to be too many dealers floating around anyway, and Marantz has a stick up its craw about allowing its products to be sold online. That said, they make wonderful equipment and their products are well worth consideration if there's a dealer near you. Cool survey, by the way. I'll be interested to see the final tally.

I hear ya on that one, I don't have any Marantz dealers near me. The nearest one is about a 2 1/2 hour drive.

Wid,

I didn't forget those guys at all. I didn't list them because I'm not considering any of their receivers. I want to get an idea of which ones out of the ones I included, are owned by the most here. It's a helping aid in my decision process, for I've done so much research my brain has gone turned to mush.

I just picked my Onkyo TX-SR702 off the back porch a few minutes ago. Now I just need to wait for the speakers to show up!
