The question is rather practical and will be heavily based on personal preferences, but given that money is not a major factor, i wanted some opinions on these audio racks.
There are alot of audio rack systems out there but many are too simple and not particularly elegant.
I've been looking at 3 in particular and would be interested in hearing what others think of these choices.

My overall criteria for a good audio rack is one that can hold a decent weight for components, integrates into the furnishings nicely (hence is not painted black but also has some style), has enough shelves for future additions and has a potential for easy cable organization at the rear.

Here are my 3 top picks so far.
Which one would you choose (or not choose)?

single choice

The others are far too busy for my tastes so I'd go with the first one, were it my choice.

Looks good. Might opt for something like that when I get a bigscreen, rather than big wooden cabinets.

I would avoid a rack with enclosing side walls and/or front doors, such as the second one in the poll. Front doors are, in my opinion, nothing but nuisance in the actual use. Besides, side walls and front doors will surely impair ventilation.

I think the units are all DIY type kits so if you wanted, the front glass doors could be left off.

I like the first one b/c of its simple style, heavy glass and great cable management.

I like the second one b/c of its great aesthetic styling, heavy glass and neat hanging cable shelf design plus wood trim.

I like the third one b/c is has both good elements from number one and two but it looks more bulky at the base (hard to move?).

The fourth one, in my second post (the other Bell'O), might be a good compromise b/w all the models.
It has open sides, nice aesthetics, sturdy but looks like a moveable base and cable management.

I just don't know.
I can't decide. Perhaps in another month i'll check the poll results again and see what the forum favorite is and then purchase based on everyone else's popular choice.

I like that last Bello the best. I also found it for $100 cheaper here:

Hmm, you're sort of all over the map here on size. ;-) The Bell'O ATC-2052M's are big. To give you an idea of scale, here's some pictures (excuse the terrible lighting, it's late here and I didn't feel like fiddling with the camera):

family room

Also excuse the mess, I'm in the process of mucking with speaker positioning and writing new software for the Irman and Powerlinc to run on the Hush PC (hence the dangling wires).

For size reference, that's a 60" Sony Grand WEGA TV in the middle, sitting on a Bell'O AVSC2051MC. The mains on each side are M80ti's. That's a VP150 under the TV. The equipment wall is almost 16' across, I was standing near the back of the room (roughly 25' deep) when snapping the straight-on shots. From bottom to top in the left one there's an HTPC in an Ahanix DIGN case (too dark to see in picture), a Netgear FS108 ethernet switch (hidden from view cuz it's deep in the base on top of the DIGN case), a Sunfire Ultimate Receiver, a ReplayTV 5160, the Hush Mini-ITX PC, an ancient Sony S-VHS VCR,
a Hughes E86 DirecTV HDTV receiver, a Sony DVD player and a Linksys WAP11 wireless ethernet hub.

I'm very happy with the Bell'O units. As you can see, one of them has no audio gear, it's just being used to hold pictures, candles, trinkets, etc. They'll handle a lot of weight w/o complaint, as will the AVSC2051MC. I got the AVSC2051MC locally for cheap, it was a floor demo unit in like-new condition (no marks anywhere). I got the
ATC-2052MC's from Unique Style Solutions. Note they're shipped via freight. They're heavy, they can easily be moved by two people when empty, but I wouldn't try moving one myself on a hardwood floor unless you like marks on your floor. :-)

lol!!!!!!
I think the big Bello stands would get in the way of the BIG PICTURE though.
Since I have a projector myself I am going for the modular glass shelving from Lovan and instead of building up I will have the stands going horizontal 3 across.
