After months of poking around sub forums, reading 1,000+ posts and many reviews, and Axiom owner comments here, I went ahead and ordered an EP500. The wife looked over my shoulder, said that "cute little speaker"...I said yes, that cute little speaker will add a new dimension to our home system...
Thanks for all the advice...
Oh...by the way that "cute little speaker" gets here next Wed.

Cool. The ep500 club is growing stronger everyday. What finish did you choose?

Geez, when I first started poking around these threads, the average Axiom HT was a couple M3s on each side of a 27" Sanyo(hey,...that would be me!)or Sony, with maybe a VP100 on top.
How times have changed!
Impressive!!

Congrats Vince, you're going to love the EP500. I'd love to see the look on your wife's face when it shows up. That cute little sub isn't that little, but it' not overly huge either though.

Hope you have a strong back or a strong neighbor, those 500's are one heavy sub. Heck the amp alone weighs over 30lbs. I'm guessing the driver is about the same or more, then you throw in the cabinet. Place all of that in a double boxed package and it is not easy to carry.
Oh and the sound they produce, unbelievable...
Welcome to the 500 posse...

Congratulations Vince! I hope you enjoy your 500 as much as I'm enjoying mine. I find it really smooth and deep. Enjoy!

Hey Guys,
Did you dial in your sub by ear? or is the Radioshack meter and an Avia disk a must??
Thanks Vince
