That's exactly right, I am purposely looking for mini-monitors, as I don't like the placement issues that come up with largish speakers like the M80. Sure the Meadowlark Swift costs more than the M80, but again, I'm looking for a truly great soundstage, not interested in getting slammed in the chest (that's what my 2 12" subs are for).
Timbre matching, yes, I was hoping to avoid a lengthy reply, but what I meant was that if I don't get the Axiom mains, I'll try the M2 as centre and if that doesn't work out, I'll get something else. My biggest concern right now is avoiding Buyers Remorse
