i didn't see bad boys 2, i sort of turn away from sequals. like the matrix sequal... i'll most likely just rent it when my axiom setup comes in.

i am just going to ebay the fifth element. As in canada, they are around $28u.s (that's not including 14% taxes). I never understood why it is so expensive in canada when i could get it for $10 in the states. which explains why our local economy is so lousy (pp are turning to the internet and to the states for products). for example, the denon 3805 sells for 1100 u.s dollars in canada (including taxes) while you can get one under $700 in the states right now. anyways, that's life i guess.

I have the Fifth Element and Spiderman 1 and 2 on Supebit and would definitely recommend the improved picture quality and attention to detail on the discs. I would not say it's a huge improvement or anything, but a noticeable improvement.

Blackorp, you might want to keep your eye open @ Future Shop. About 2 weeks ago they had a large bin of them and were selling for something like 2 for $25. Probably sold out by now but might be worth checking locally.

I have the Superbit edition of Black Hawk Down. It's very cool.

Keep in mind there are 2 compression settings for DTS, 754 kbps, or 1509 kbps.

For comparison, Dolby Digital is ~350 kbps.

Most DTS DVD's use 754 kbps, but I think superbit guarantees the 1509 kbps setting. From what it infers from the link that BrotherBob gave, it sounds like they are using the "highest" quality of DTS.

So, I'm hypothisizing that this is one heckova DVD for sound quality. :-D
